The School of Mathematics and Statistics at the Open University is seeking a Senior Lecturer to join our Statistics Group and take a leading role in shaping the future research of the Group.

You will be expected to write papers for publication in high quality journals, make applications for funding, supervise PhD students and contribute to examination, teaching and materials for students.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in theoretical or applied statistics and a proven track record of successful publications in high quality journals, indicating strong contributions to future REF submissions, and evidence of the ability to obtain research funding.
We also require excellent teaching and communication skills. You will be expected to contribute to the teaching of our existing modules as well as to the development of new teaching material. Other criteria are set out in the Job Description.
