Hi Raja,
Thanks, we don't have a fully functional system yet, we're just testing out ARC6... and taking the opportunity to clean/understand our config.
It looks like the best thing to do would be bring up both the WS and gridftp endpoints (ATLAS can access the WS via the Arc Control Tower but not via the standard HTCondor submission.. thanks Pete for forwarding that on) which would allow testing from DIRAC, and trying out interesting things with ATLAS. I think the WS interface might be a good thing to have :D
Thanks again, I'll let you know when we have a working system.
Gareth

Hi Gareth,
Currently DIRAC uses the python api to talk to ARC CEs. The code for this is in the following github page
https://github.com/DIRACGrid/DIRAC/blob/integration/Resources/Computing/ARCComputingElement.py
I (among others of course) maintain this interface for DIRAC and am happy to code in the rest interface if available. But until now, I did not have any endpoint to test it against. If you can point me to the endpoint, I will be happy to work on it (it may take a few weeks to start, as I have other stuff on my plate right now).
Cheers,
Raja.

Given the support problems with gridftp I'm wondering if we could move to the WS interface... but it depends on whether ATLAS/DIRAC (i.e. LHCb and others) can use it.
