Booking is now open for the annual Sporting Heritage Conference this October. Sporting Heritage is the Subject Specialist Network supporting sporting collections across the UK.
Our annual conference is always incredibly popular and allows us to share key policy updates relating to sporting heritage, along with the sharing of best practice case studies, developing the understanding of the role and value of sporting heritage, hands-on advice and guidance, and increasing the confidence and knowledge of those wishing to develop sporting heritage activity. This year we are extremely grateful to have the support of the Welsh Government to deliver the conference in Cardiff on the 23rd and 24th October at the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket, and a keynote session from the Deputy Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport.
Delegates include professionals and volunteers from:
The heritage sector including museums and archives
Sport clubs and governing bodies
Higher Education Institutions
Learning providers including schools
Community groups
