Dear all,
I am writing with a reminder about the upcoming Faraday Discussion on Quantum Effects in Complex Systems, to be held at the University of Warwick, UK, on 11-13 September 2019.
The discussion will broadly cover the experimental and computational investigation of quantum-mechanical effects, such as tunnelling, zero-point energy and coherence, in complex chemical systems. Key discussion themes include:
- Quantum coherence in complex environments
- Spectroscopic signatures of quantum effects
- Zero-point energy and tunnelling
- Emerging opportunities and future directions
Further information can be found here: http://rsc.li/quantumeffects-fd2019
The deadline for submission of poster abstracts is 1 July 2019.
We look forward to welcoming you to Warwick in September!
Best wishes,
Scott Habershon
On behalf of the organising committee: David Tew, Graham Worth, Garth Jones, Alex Jones and Gabriela Schlau-Cohen.
