Catherine has written a helpful blog post to get things started (hosted on my blog this time) and addressed some useful questions for reflection. Please do have a look at the post, consider reading the article and join in with your thoughts and comments.

Q? What is HILJClub?
HILJClub is an initiative aimed at encouraging engagement with articles published in HILJ. It can be a helpful nudge to a bit of CPD, something for a revalidation log or just to satisfy your curiosity. This is the fourth edition with the first buried somewhere on the CILIP Communities platform and others on my blog here<https://evidently.org.uk/2018/09/21/hilj-cpd-reading-volume-35-no-3-developing-a-generic-tool-to-routinely-measure-the-impact-of-health-libraries/> and the last one hosted by Lisa Burscheidt<https://thatblackbook.wordpress.com/2019/02/21/hilj-cpd-reading-vol-35-no-3-localising-and-tailoring-research-evidence-helps-public-health-decision-making/>.
Q? Who can participate?
Anyone who can access the article (this article is OA so anyone!). All HLG members have access to HILJ as part of their membership benefits (way in is to log in via: https://www.cilip.org.uk/Login.aspx<https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cilip.org.uk%2FLogin.aspx&data=01%7C01%7Calan.fricker%40kcl.ac.uk%7Cf5744c7d58e449b2888708d69cbeff56%7C8370cf1416f34c16b83c724071654356%7C0&sdata=fWA%2FAI3weCFUDfominbO%2B52hvPT52NigdsCWGnZfzS8%3D&reserved=0> then navigate via the Groups link to the HLG pages then to publications and HILJ). Others may find it in their Wiley package. The more people who get involved the more useful the discussion will be.
Q? Do I have to read the article?
First rule of journal club etc etc
Q? Do I have to comment?
No - but greater participation makes for more interesting times.
Q? Can I host HILJClub in the future?
Absolutely - please do drop me a line if you want to host a future edition. You get to choose the article and can host it on your blog to maybe get a few people to look in on what else you have been up to there. Not got a blog? No problem - you can be guest host on someone elses. The intention is to have an article out of each issue but no hard and fast rules. The next issue is already ready for you to take a pick from - check out the ToC<https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/14711842/2019/36/2> and get in touch (should we talk sustainability goals, filters, EHR, policy clearing houses?).
Q? I have more questions!
Contact me (or Tom Roper, Lisa Burscheidt, Morag Clarkson or Catherine Mclaren)
Cheers and happy reading
