Hi Tom,
Here in Orkney our local fuel poverty charity THAW (Tackling Household Affordable Warmth) Orkney has figures to show that out of 71 referrals from the local Trussell Trust foodbank for the electricity vouchers that THAW Orkney can give out, 34 were on UC and 11 have an unknown income because they were hard to reach, but it is likely that they will also be on UC looking at their cases.

Subject: Universal Credit and the raise in fuel poverty
Hello All,
Has anyone studied the correlation between Universal Credit and fuel poverty? I currently work in South Yorkshire and have seen a propensity for Universal Credit claimants suggesting they are struggling with their fuel bills/ pre-payment meters.
Over the next 3 months I will be looking at this, but was wondering if we had a national picture yet.
Regards,
Tom
