University Centre Calderdale College is seeking an external examiner on the new Business, Leadership and Management degree programme and the new Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship route (Business Management and Professional Development). UCCC degree programmes are validated by The Open University (OU); these are new programmes commencing first delivery in September 2019. The role includes moderation of a sample of work after each submission, attendance at two/three Board of Examiners meetings annually and producing a report after each Board meeting.
Because of the scope of the role an experienced candidate is preferred but those new to external examining will be considered provided the applicant has the relevant professional qualification(s) and experience. Relevant professional experience in the field of Leadership and Management, plus current teaching responsibility is required.
External examiners are appointed by OU and the University is responsible for payment of fees and expenses.
Starting date for this EE post is 1st November, 2019.
