Dear All,
We are trying to do 3D classification on our data with 1.8deg angular sampling and we are keep getting error message "custom_allocator.cuh, line 546". Same run with 3.7deg sampling went well with no
errors (box size is 320px). We suspect it is a problem of insufficient GPU memory, on board we have 4x GPUs each with 8GB RAM.
We have tried several different settings, including Skip padding, Fast subsets, combining iterations through disc etc. But nothing gave positive outcome. We can run the process without GPU
acceleration, but it takes ages.
Can anyone verify that this is the memory case or give any other solution to the problem?
Best regards,
