Health Economics in R HackathonImperialCollege London6th-7th November 2019
This is a free, two day meeting to bring together health economists and R users tocreate novel R packages, learn new skills and network. The meeting will be heldat Imperial College London, beginningWednesday 6th November 2019 with registration from 08:30, and finish onThursday 7th November 2019 at 17.00.

This will involve small group project work developing health economics tools, as well as training in related data science skills. This event is open to participants of all levels and experience in using R. Financial support for travel and over-night accommodation is available to those that qualify. Please indicate if you wish to be considered for this when you apply.
Example applications could include:
* Extending existing packages e.g. extended multistate model packages to explicitly incorporate cost-effectiveness analysis * Better handling of sensitivity analysis data * Improving visualisation of economic evaluation data, statistics and uncertainties * Improving ease of use e.g simply be adding an extra level of abstraction to existing R package so that new higher-level functions can be exploited by practitioners and policymakers
