Hi all
Interesting considering most new vehicles now come with stop/start technology switched 'on' as a default. I have always wondered where the line lies where switching off is more efficient. The obvious difficulty is, you would need to know how long you WILL be stationary to work out in advance whether it's worth switching off?
I know in some EU countries traffic lights now have a timer to show the length of time you'll be waiting.
It'll be interesting if / when the results of any decent studies are available.
