Coinciding with what would have been Ingeborg Bachmann's 93rd birthday, her iconic novel Malina is published by Penguin Modern Classics in Philip Boehm's revised translation. Penguin, the ACF London, and Ingeborg Bachmann Centre for Austrian Literature & Culture<https://modernlanguages.sas.ac.uk/research-centres/ingeborg-bachmann-centre-austrian-literature> (IBC) celebrate the occasion with a reading by Heinz Bachmann, the late author's brother, and Philip Boehm, followed by a conversation with Andrea Capovilla (IBC) about Bachmann's legacy and central significance within 20th-century literature.
