That's a really great project, and I'm glad the comments on that
thread reflect that more than his negative experience with the
Smithsonian.
Alas, it does mirror my experiences in trying to get
museums/galleries/spaces to consider digital works. What can be done
to persuade such establishments into having an easy-to-access point of
contact for suggesting that such works exist? Even if it's only a once
a year "open call for submissions", that'd help get more things like
this in front of the general public, and not just the people on hacker
news!
