Announcement of the Research Group Computational Statistics (CSTAT), TU Wien
Post-doctoral University Assistant
The position is scheduled to be filled by 1st October 2019 for a
duration of 6 years with an employment for 20 hrs/week. The monthly
minimum salary B1 is currently € 1.902,- gross (14x per year). Prior
experience may result in higher salary.
Employment conditions:
Completion of a Master or Diploma-curriculum as well as a doctorate or
PhD in one of the following fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science
Job description:
The research group Computational Statistics works on the development of
new multivariate statistical methods, on new algorithms, as well as on
the implementation of such methods in the computing environment R. The
successful candidate is expected to contribute to these research goals,
and to collaborate with experts from other fields in different
applications and projects.
Willingness to hold compulsory and elective courses and also take care
of the students.
