Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £35,328 - £42,70 per annum
Trials Unit (CTU) at UCL. The CTU is a centre of excellence for clinical trials, meta-analyses and epidemiological studies; it is also a partner on "21st Century Trials" for the new Health Data Research UK (HDR UK).
We have a post, with initial funding for 2 years in the first instance, in the area of trial conduct methodology. The main purpose of the role is to improve the conduct of clinical trials through better methods for trial and data management. Together, we will generate an evidence-base for efficient and effective trial conduct, and related tools and guidance, which will have global impact on trial conduct.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supporting and developing work to facilitate access to electronic health records within CTU and across the London HDR UK Consortium,
* Supporting the research effort to transform operational challenges into answerable research questions by contributing to and leading research projects in areas of interest to the unit.
Key Requirements:
The successful applicants should have a good understanding of practical issues in clinical trials from a clinical trial management, data management or statistics perspective.
Good communications skills and the ability to work within a team are needed.
