Veramed are looking for a Senior Lead Programmer on a permanent basis.

Veramed is a growing CRO company focused on biometrics. Founded in
2012 with the mission to achieve and maintain an unparalleled
reputation for quality and service, Veramed has now over 100 staff
based in 4 offices between UK and US. Our teams of Programmers and
Statisticians cover phase I to IV of clinical drug development in a
wide range of therapeutic areas.

Based out of our modern HQ in Twickenham, we also have offices in
Manchester and Swansea dependent on which location is best suited for
you.

Key Responsibilities

The job tasks listed below outline the scope of the position. The
application of these tasks may vary, based on current business needs.

Technical:

·         Provision of statistical consultancy and advice to external clients

·         Simulation of study designs including adaptive and Bayesian
methodology

·         Statistical programming and analysis of clinical and
pre-clinical study data.

·         Assessment of analysis results to check statistical models
have fitted, if appropriate

·         Review and/or create specifications (for datasets and/or
tables, figures and listings),

·         provide feedback and request clarity if needed

·         Planning, development and validation of SAS programs

·         Exploratory data analysis

·         Maintain proficiency with respect to statistical methodology
and associated SAS

·         programming and in applying new and varied methods by
attending training,

·         seminars, conferences or additional reading

·         Review, develop and/or author statistical analysis plans and
other study related documents

·         Understand relevant disease states in order to enhance the
level of customer focus and collaboration

·         Oversight of statistical deliverables

Competency:

·         Lead internal and/or client study team meetings and identify
key areas for discussions

·         Communication with clients and team members to discuss
requests, develop requirements and resolve issues

·         Identify potential challenges or issues and pro-actively
find innovative solutions

·         Apply learnings across projects or studies

·         Perform work in full compliance with applicable internal and
client policies, procedures, processes and training

Minimum Qualification Requirements

·         MSc or PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics (or equivalent)



Minimum Experience Requirements

·         At least 4 years of pre-clinical and clinical industry experience

·         Experience in the conduct of exploratory statistical
analysis and familiarity with

·         Bayesian methods

·         Proficiency in using SAS and R

·         Experience in the preparation and review of statistical analysis plans

·         Statistical deliverable oversight

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Interpersonal/teamwork skills for effective interactions

·         Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely
and accurate completion of competing deliverables

·         Creativity and innovation

·         Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
