I don't know about any particular rules for how long transparency information should remain available to the public for, but as with any retention issues this comes back to purpose/need. Your organisation will keep financial information internally for its own business purposes (e.g. auditing) and after 7 years has passed delete it as there is no need to retain that information any longer. The information published on the website has a different purpose, so may need a different retention period. Arguably there is no reason to delete the published information because its purpose is to be there for the public to see. It depends how transparent your organisation wants to be, i.e. how far back do you want people to be able to see?
