Thanks for your responses Patrick and Doug. I preferred Claire Denis' previous film, an adaptation of Roland Barthes' A Lover's Discourse: Fragments. Here's the director on screen talking about and showing clips from that earlier film, titled Let the Sunshine In, featuring Juliette Binoche, who played the doctor in High Life.
