Dear colleagues,
Please bring this announcement to potentially interested candidates:
A Ph.D. position is available in the Chemical Dynamics subgroup of the
CFEL-DESY Theory Division (https://desy-theory.cfel.de/) to work on
machine learning of key reaction coordinates in chemical reactions.
The candidate should hold a masters in chemistry, physics or computer
science (with good background in physics/chemistry) with excellent
grades and programming experience. Knowledge of machine learning
techniques is a plus. The position is well compensated with 75% of a
full Postdoc salary.
The position is funded by the cluster of excellence "Advanced Imaging of
Matter" (AIM) and is part of "The Hamburg Center for Ultrafast Imaging"
