Emma,
We have Optium Neo H meters in use for community locations. This is part of our agreement with Abbott - we use their FPP connected meters on our hospital sites.
POCT covers three counties, which includes a number of PCTs and 2 hospital trusts. Optium Neo H meters are in use in our GP surgeries, district nursing teams and also some private nursing home/ clinic locations. Totalling getting on for 300 sites and 1000 meters, all of which are registered with us for EQA.
This is quite a challenge, not least in terms of administration, so I’m interested to see the response to this query. Thanks for posting it!

The glucometers that they currently use (One Touch, Verio Pro+) have recently become unavailable on the UK market and so the community teams require a replacement (I have no meters for new staff or if a meter breaks). I am currently looking into the unconnected Nova meter, as we use the connected meters within the hospital (there is no way connected meters would work in the community, as we are talking about 8 separate sites, that don't even have access to the Trust intranet currently)! But would like to know if there are alternatives out there.
