Dear All,
We are delighted to announce the first release candidate of our Synergistic Image Reconstruction Framework (SIRF) Version 2.0.0.
The main changes since Release 1.1.1 are:
- registration capabilities: rigid, affine and non-rigid registration (and resampling) provided by wrapping the NiftyReg framework;
- 2D filtered back projection reconstructor;
- SSRB rebinning;
- Parallel Level Sets prior;
- unified PET-MR ImageData objects hierarchy.
A more complete list can be found here: https://github.com/CCPPETMR/SIRF/blob/master/CHANGES.md.
Please visit http://www.ccppetmr.ac.uk/softwareframework.html for further information and links, including a list with our planned timelines.
We remind you that we supply a Virtual Machine (using Oracle VirtualBox) with Python bindings pre-installed, but also installation procedures for those who want to build the software natively, which should work on Linux and Mac (native installation on Windows is possible but still difficult at present unfortunately).
Please try it out and let us know, by mailing to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, whether it worked for you and provide other feedback.
Our Best Regards,
CCPPETMR Developers
