This is an exciting and varied role within the Public Programmes Team, a nationally recognised, award winning team who advise on and deliver Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement, or PPIE, in health research
We are looking for a skilled and creative communicator with experience of developing, delivering and evaluating initiatives that involve and engage patients and/or members of the public. They will have a demonstrable track record of working effectively with researchers. They will also have experience of developing and/or delivering training. They will be a committed and resilient team player with excellent organisational and project management skills.
Public Programmes is financially independent and not-for profit, based within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, partnered with the University of Manchester. This role is office based working at the Nowgen Centre, on the Central Hospital campus (M13 9WU) and may require occasional meetings at our partner hospital sites across Greater Manchester, e.g. The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
