Open PhD position in Computational Molecular Physics at the University of Rostock, Germany.
The Molecular Quantum Dynamics group at the University of Rostock announces a PhD position within a project focussed on the theoretical investigation of the properties of hybrid systems composed of two-dimensional graphene oxide layers and ionic liquids. The goal is to characterize and eventually design the interaction between the two susbystems such as to tune electronic and optical properties. On the methodological side, the project will be based on ab initio molecular dynamics, combined with model building toward an efficient and versatile computational protocol.
The project involves close cooperation with experiment.
