Dear Colleagues,
This is a reminder to register your interest in the newly-established MeCCSA Local and Community Media Network and to sign up for our first event.
The network aims to draw together scholars to raise the profile of research in this field both in the UK and internationally, and to strengthen its future trajectory. It also seeks to support and promote the development of research and teaching in the field. We welcome scholars at all stages of their career.
The inaugural event will be held at Canterbury Christ Church University, thanks to network co-founder Professor Agnes Gulyas, starting at 11am. We expect to finish around 3pm. This meeting will determine priorities for actions and plan future events. The programme will include space for contributions from participants, in the form of ‘lightning talks’ on how they see the priorities and their contribution.
