Hi Darren
The number should be complex, not something you can remember...... remembering numbers is a big problem for us as it is basically badge theft without the need to actually steal the physical badge itself.
I would go for a minimum of 7 digits with an alphadigit in the middle. 316X325 or something similar
Kind Regards

Subject: Password sharing of barcoded operator ID
Hi Collective brain,
I wondered what format or systems used for creating barcode numbers for the operator ID to discourage password sharing on POCT devices. I have heard of things like the person's payroll number is used in one Trust - If so I would like to hear from you also. Many thanks!
Kind regards,
Darren Browne
