Archivist (V&A Archive and Registry)
Salary: £27,385.00 - £32,914.00 Per Annum
Location: Blythe House, Olympia, West Kensington
We are seeking an Archivist to contribute to the work of records and archives management at the V&A Museum. The post holder will work in the V&A Archive and Registry team, part of the Word & Image Department. The V&A Archive and Registry maintains the Museum’s current, semi-current and archival records and provides excellent information services to staff and the public. You will assist the Senior Archivist in ensuring compliance with statutory requirements affecting records and other information, manage staff and volunteers, and contribute to public access services for the V&A’s archives, and other collections within the Word & Image Department.
The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in archives and records management, as well as, demonstrable professional and post-qualification experience of archive and/or records management work. We will also be seeking someone with proven communication skills, who has a positive attitude to the process of change.
The post is based at Blythe House, although occasional attendance at the Museum’s main site in South Kensington may also be required.
