Dear All,
After many happy years working with you all I am sorry to say that today I am leaving the GridPP Production Manager role. I should mention that this is not a consequence of anything done by or changing within GridPP, but is the result of a local policy decision (beyond my control) that means I cannot continue contributing time to the project.
This means that the responsibilities I held will very soon be reallocated by the PMB. Until that happens I do hope you will be patient with members of the ops team who will I’m sure do their best to keep things ticking along between them. (Thank you in advance!). The sudden change means that I must apologise for any tasks that I leave unfinished and for any additional work this may bring to others – you know that I would have much preferred an orderly transition. I hope by quickly informing you of today’s change, any new requests that I would previously have handled can be directed elsewhere.
It has been a real privilege to work on the GridPP project for so long amongst such great people. I have really appreciated the effort and dedication that everyone puts in to making it such a successful, dynamic, and dare I say it fun, collaboration. I will certainly miss working with you all on a day-to-day basis and wish you good luck and continuing success. I hope to see many of you soon in other contexts.
Very best wishes,
Jeremy
