Hi all, Great event below that I think could be of interest - CPD accred 5 hrs

Europe’s biggest scientific conference on plant-based nutrition bringing together internationally renowned speakers to be held at King’s College London in 2019!

Europe’s biggest scientific conference on plant-based nutrition is coming to the UK for the very first time, bringing together some of the biggest names in plant-based medicine and nutrition.

VegMed 2019: The Power of Plants: bringing plant-based nutrition into mainstream medicine is a two-day conference held at King’s College London on 12 and 13 October 2019. The first day is for the medical profession: physicians, scientists, medical students, and nutritionists and those in related fields. The second day is for the general public.

As Europe’s biggest conference on plant-based nutrition, it boasts an impressive line-up of speakers including; Dr Michael Greger, founder of NutritionFacts.org and acclaimed author of ‘How Not to Die’, internationally renowned nutritionist Brenda Davis, Dr Neal Barnard - President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and Dr Michael Klaper who has been featured in several award-winning films focused on health and sustainable living, including “Diet For A New America”, “What the Health”, and “Cowspiracy.”

It is anticipated that the conference will sell out each day with near half of the tickets sold already. Tickets are available for purchase from VegMed.org

The scientific conference for medical professionals is accredited for 5 CPD hours by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

The full programme is available at VegMed.org
