Two post-doc positions available at the UCL Inst of Cognitive Neuroscience with Neil Burgess’ Space and Memory group (https://www.ucl.ac.uk/icn/people/neil-burgess).Posts are until Sept 2021 in the first instance, extension contingent on further funding.
Candidates will perform research in human cognitive and computational neuroscience that should complement the group’s current work, which includes: MEG decoding of sequential planning [1]; 3T and 7T fMRI of neural mechanisms in imagery, memory, navigation [2-4]; the effects of emotional content on memory [5]; intracranial recording in epilepsy patients [6]; computational modelling of imagery, memory and the roles of grid and place cells [7,8].
Researchers will collaborate with related work on grid and place cells in rodent virtual reality [9] and related groups at the ICN, Welcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging, Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour and the wider UCL neuroscience community.
