A reminder that the deadline for the chance to be a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Broadcast Journalism at NTU is Monday 31st March.
We are looking for an experienced and talented multiplatform journalist to join a dynamic team within the prestigious Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism delivering industry-standard skills and knowledge to students across our undergraduate and postgraduate journalism courses. All of our courses are professionally accredited by either the Broadcasting Journalism Training Council (BJTC) or the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).
As well as professional experience in broadcasting within digital media, television and radio news, you will have teaching experience at HE level, well-developed knowledge of the journalism industry and allied professions and an awareness of trends and market expectations across the sector. You will be able to contribute to the design and delivery of an evolving curriculum that engages directly with industry and equips our graduates for work. The successful candidate will be fully conversant with the standards of the BJTC. Applicants with a specialism in data journalism, social media, or political journalism are especially welcome.
