Dear All,
Daniel Speck‘s bestselling novel „Bella Germania“ (2016), a Family Drama
during the Italian immigration to Germany and the German-Italian
industrial cooperation, comes onto the TV screen tonight at 20.15 pm
German Time in ZDF as the first of three episodes.

It will probably be a rather shallow version of the (sh...ops!) novel,
indulging in German cliches about „their Italians“ (see esp. the
comments of some of the actors on the website of ZDF, except for Kostja
Ullmann’s), but as this is what Germany‘s mainstream is still about, it
shalt be indulged with a sigh. At least by all those poor souls who are
interested in things intercultural.
