Hi!
Command glxinfo | egrep 'server|client|OpenGL' works, but I am not sure which is driver version/status. If it helps to know this, send new answer and tell what I should be looking for.
It could be this one: OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 18.0.5
Regards,
Mikael

Hi Mikael,
That should be a fairly simple and solid setup, although I see on line that there were previously some issues with the 630 graphics and are still some with its Coffee Lake successor.
You can check the driver version/status with
glxinfo | egrep 'server|client|OpenGL'
I have gone right off Gnome 3 because it was making my systems run slowly and because quad buffered stereo (e.g. for PyMOL) was impossible, so I have switched to lightDM & Mate (which are forked from Gnome 2) as display manager and desktop, with generally good results. If you're not a fan of the Gnome 3 interface, you can switch relatively painlessly as described here:
yum install lightdm
yum group install "X Window System"
yum groupinstall "MATE Desktop"
systemctl disable gdm
systemctl enable lightdm
systemctl isolate graphical.target
Should come up with the lightdm login greeter - be sure to select MATE as from the dropdown list of desktop managers before you log in.
In theory, you should be able to switch between Gonme3 and Mate to see which you prefer but some people find that they have to uninstall gnome3 before they can use mate.

Hi!
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 7.6 64-bit Intel Core i5-7500 Intel HD Graphics 630 (Kaby Lake GT2) (I didn't find driver info) Gnome 3.28.2
I hope this helps.

It would be interesting to know what LINUX OS/Graphics card/Graphics driver/Gnome combination you are using as it sounds like a buggy graphics driver issue. The Gnome 3/Wayland (compositing display) combination also introduces complications and performance issues in my experience.

Subject: How to change back to OpenGL when Analysis crashes?
Hi!
A while ago there was email which said that Analysis might run faster if Graphis Handler is changed to OpenGL. I tried this and first it didn't show any difference. Now I cannot open my Analysis project because Linux log outs when loading the project (Gnome crashes?).
I tested couple things which I won't write here. It seems that change to OpenGL is the problem. Can I somehow edit my project without opening it? Change back to Tk?
Regards,
Mikael
