Dear all,
The United Reformed Church is embarking on a project to digitalise all of its ministers’ files so it is held centrally in one place and can be accessed by those who need the information, wherever they are. These ministers’ files are current records, which are preserved later as archives once a minister is deceased. I would be really interested to hear from anyone who has undertaken a similar digitalisation project, in particular what methodology they used and if scanning was kept in-house/done externally, etc.
We will also soon be collecting oral histories from individuals that are associated with the church and therefore, are looking for recommendations on good recording equipment that anyone has brought and used for this kind of project (this will also help to inform our budget).
I would be grateful if replies are sent off the list to: [log in to unmask]
Many thanks in advance,
Shahera
