***APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING***
This year’s annual University of East Anglia (UEA) Qualitative Research
Methods Symposium will take place on 8th April 2019. The theme this year,
"Co-creating arts, connections and qualitative research methods", promises
to be the most innovative yet in placing interdisciplinary qualitative work
in the context of high quality novel connections with communities. We have
excellent interactive examples in discussions and workshops of arts
enabling international research partnerships across three continents.
Keynote speakers are Sarah Barrow, Professor of Film and Media Studies and
UEA's PVC for the Faculty of Humanities, and also Saskia Holmqvist,
Professor of Contemporary Art at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, who
uses arts to develop novel understandings of research.
The event to be held in Norwich at UEA. Attendance will cost £30 to non-UEA
delegates, but is free to UEA students and staff.
