Dear CCPEMers,
Are there any specific compilation requirements for Relion 3 (stable
version) for running on Intel Xeon Phi (Knights Landing - KNL) clusters,
over what is done for the more standard Xeon (Skylake) processor family?
There used to be slight differences recommended for Relion 3 beta (see,
for example, https://bitbucket.org/DTegunov/relion-3.0_beta_tomopatch),
though the main beta page
(https://bitbucket.org/scheres/relion-3.0_beta) does not / no longer
discusses this.
While our standard CPU-specific installation runs quite happily with the
--cpu flag on both our Skylake and KNL clusters, we're keen to ensure
that we're getting the most out of our KNL nodes...
Apologies if I've missed a source for this info!
Many thanks,
Neil
