We are seeking anenthusiastic and committed research assistant to support a multi-disciplinaryteam of researchers at Edge Hill University who are looking to develop andapply novel statistical approaches to the assessment of biomechanical musculoskeletaldata and their relationship with other assessments to improve the relevance,impact and uptake of the biomechanical statistical framework findings forclinical practice and public health.
This is a 42 weeks positionon a 0.5 FTE contract (approximately 2.5 days per week). The successfulcandidate will initially be primarily responsible for organising, cleaning andmanipulating the already collected (secondary) data sets in preparation forstatistical analysis at the first instance. They will also be organising and undertakingdata collection sessions, processing (using 3D motion analysis systems, force plates and isokineticdynamometry) andanalysing data on non-clinical populations with support from the research team.
