Hi Winnie
org.nordugrid.ARC-CE-SRM-submit-ops check copies a test file from a randomly chosen apparently working SE to the ARC CE. It is a valid way of testing but a lots of time if there is a problem at the remote SE then this test fails.
It is a known issue and few months ago I raised this issue at OMB meeting and then opened a ticket
https://ggus.eu/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=137636
The gist of the ticket is that everyone agrees that it is an issue but there is no consensus to how to fix it :)
Cheers
Kashif

Subject: Question about local CE NAGIOS ops test WARN
Good morning!
This morning our CE was abruptly WARN Orange for this test:
org.nordugrid.ARC-CE-SRM-submit-ops
with this WARN:
https://argo-mon.egi.eu/nagios/cgi-bin/extinfo.cgi?type=2&host=lcgce01.phy.bris.ac.uk&service=org.nordugrid.ARC-CE-SRM-submit-ops
LDAP query (&(objectClass=GlueVOInfo)(GlueChunkKey=GlueSEUniqueID=ccsrm.in2p3.fr)(GlueVOInfoAccessControlBaseRule=VO:ops)) did not provide a value for variable.se_vo_dir.
I am confuse why it says
GlueSEUniqueID=ccsrm.in2p3.fr
for our lcgce01.phy.bris.ac.uk.
The test has since turned GREEN.
Similar on another site:
https://argo-mon.egi.eu/nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi?host=svr010.gla.scotgrid.ac.uk&style=detail
org.nordugrid.ARC-CE-SRM-submit-ops
UNKNOWN 02-27-2019 10:37:07 0d 0h 8m 12s 1/2 LDAP query
(&(objectClass=GlueVOInfo)(GlueChunkKey=GlueSEUniqueID=gridsrv3-4.dir.garr.it)(GlueVOInfoAccessControlBaseRule=VO:ops))
did not provide a value for variable.se_vo_dir.
Is something awry in the proverbial Information System?
