I've not been able to find a good listing of such stories (would also be interested), but my favorite data loss story is Toy Story 2; even comes with (unsurprisingly) an animated video:

Also has a number of good lessons (access, multiple back-ups, processes, testing back-ups)
All best,
Sebastian

Happy Monday everyone!
I was wondering if there is a central resource of 'data loss' stories anywhere? Or if not, whether anyone can provide me with their 'go to' horror stories'. Examples from different disciplines would be useful for training.
Many thanks in advance,
Catharine Bailey
