The Role
This is an exciting new role within the business, ideally suited for an individual with significant practical experience in the delivery of records management solutions in a corporate environment. You would be responsible for maintaining a cost-effective, efficient and professional records management service across the business, monitoring consistent compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements, including GDPR. You will need to understand the role information plays within the firm, the information needs of frontline operational users, identifying areas where capabilities can be enhanced and work to implement improvements.
You would actively contribute to initiatives and projects that support better information governance and the overall management of records irrespective of format across our estate; data quality initiatives, deletion of electronic records across complex systems and eDiscovery projects. You would be tasked with helping deliver improvement in the quality of electronic data and records and ensuring overall effective management of records throughout their lifecycle, from creation through to deletion.

The role will suit a highly efficient and enthusiastic individual with a professional outlook and the ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision. You must have…
• Extensive experience in information governance and records management within professional services
• Strong understanding of data protection principles under GDPR
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to liaise confidently with stakeholders at various levels within the firm
• The ability to undertake complex analysis / problem solving and communicate the results clearly
• The ability to map end-to-end Information flow process
• Familiarity with the application of automated tools which enable selective access to information (preferable)
• A post-graduate or similar qualification in either information or records management
