Bill,
Hadn't heard of Gerard Murnane previously and he doesn't seem to be really collected in the rare book world, but I regret not buying more Patrick White first editions in dust jacket before the Nobel. A collectible copy of White's first book Happy Valley is currently priced at $4500 by a very experienced NYC rare book dealer. I've memorized your tip and hope Gerard Murnane's books surface in front of my eyes in still very international Wash DC.
