Introduction to QGIS - 4-7th March, Southampton
This 3-day course introduces QGIS with no previous experience required. You will learn about projections, what makes a good map and how to import spatial data, including the best ways to visualise spatial data. On the third day, you’ll discover how to use analytic tools with vector datasets using practical examples. The course Is workshop-based with a focus on practical learning outcomes.
Introduction to spatial data and using R as a GIS - 27th March, Southampton
This one-day course teaches how to use R to import, manage and process spatial data. You’ll learn how to make choropleth maps and understand basic spatial analysis. This is ideal for anyone who has to use spatial data in their role or wants to learn what spatial data can be used for.
