Dear colleagues,
Please be reminded that the final deadline for abstracts and early bird registration for the 3rd International Critical Metals Conference is this THURSDAY the 28th of February at midnight.
This is shaping up to be an excellent meeting with a great range of abstracts submitted so far. We are delighted to have six fantastic keynotes arranged for the conference. These are Jacqui Murray from UKRI InnovateUK, speaking on the UK government programme on electric vehicle batteries; our early career keynote Dr Anouk Borst from the University of St Andrews speaking on rare earth elements in Greenland; Prof. Paul Nex from the University of Witwatersrand discussing the hype cycle of critical metals; David Merriman from Roskill presenting on the EV revolution; Dr Kathryn Goodenough from the British Geological Survey talking on the geology of EVs and Ben Katz from the NGO PACT speaking on the responsible sourcing of critical metals.
The conference committee is delighted with the response so far and we invite any one interested in critical metals to consider submitting an abstract and joining in the conversation here in Edinburgh. Final registration deadline is the 15th of March.
Kind regards,
Eimear Deady
