Hi,
Sorry if this is long winded! Have just installed FSL on Ubuntu 18.10 and all seems to be fine except FSLeyes, which was listed in the search path but giving a 'not found' error. I followed the instructions given here: https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/FSLeyes for Ubuntu 18.04, but still got the 'not found error'. After linking (was pulling at straws...) using sudo ln -s FSLeyes/fsleyes ./fsleyes, I get the following error:
WARNING __init__.py 620: create - GLContext callback function raised AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'decode'
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "fsleyes/gl/__init__.py", line 614, in create
File "fsleyes/main.py", line 516, in realCallback
File "fsleyes/gl/__init__.py", line 307, in bootstrap
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'decode'
So, I deleted the newly unzipped version and reinstated the version that came with the FSL download, but now typing fsleyes gives the following:
/usr/local/fsl/bin/fsleyes: 3: /usr/local/fsl/bin/fsleyes: /usr/local/fsl/bin/FSLeyes/fsleyes: not found
Have I created a new issue by linking the downloaded FSLeyes? And if so, would appreciate advice on fixing?
Many thanks in advance
Niki
