Cusichaca Trust Archive Project Cataloguer (six-months temporary contract in the first instance)
Senate House Library is seeking to recruit an outstanding cataloguer to describe and catalogue the Archive of the Cusichaca Trust, spanning three decades of archaeological work in the Peruvian Andes.
This is a six-month, fixed term role in the first instance. The successful candidate will undertake the cataloguing of the Cusichaca Trust Archive in accordance with ISAD(G), national and international standards, and in-house guidelines to a sufficient degree of granularity as to allow digitisation partners to index and key-word-tag the collection, and produce item-level unique image identifiers.
The successful candidate must hold a post-graduate archival qualification and have demonstrable experience of archives cataloguing in an academic library, special collection, or equivalent. An interest or previous knowledge of archaeological records and/or Latin American history would be desirable.
