Places are running out for our New Essential Skills courses
We are putting on three half day courses in March to help researchers and students get to grips with: Python, R & Excel
Places are filling up fast for this fantastic opportunity, plus they are all only £60!
The courses are designed to give you the basic skills you need to use the programs in your own research. They are bitesize and easy to digest in one afternoon and are great for anyone starting to explore data analysis in R, Python and Excel. The course is held in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Manchester.

This hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the Jupyter Python programming environment and demonstrates the use of the Python language for performing basic data analysis.

This hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the R programming environment and demonstrates the use of the R language for performing basic data analysis.

This introductory course will explore the data analysis functionality of Microsoft Excel 2010. Examples will be worked through to demonstrate what Excel can be used for and how to make the most of some of the data analysis functions
