Role & Responsibilities
• Responsible for making recommendations to the Commercial Medicines leadership team.
• Develop an objective set of criteria for the analysis of opportunity and risk to support new product decisions.
• Using a diverse range of market inputs including proprietary data sources to develop market analysis and make recommendations.
• Monitor changes in the Pharmaceutical market and healthcare environment.
• Develop and maintain a simplified overview of on-going and future BD opportunities
• Provide a future view of the Commercial Medicines portfolio, highlighting key opportunities.
• Provide global and market updates including competitor tracking.
• Working with other teams validate assumptions in the business case for new product acquisitions.
• Provide key commercial insight and assumptions during the Due Diligence and contracting phases for new products.
Experience & Skills Required
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field
• Previous experience as an Analyst or equivalent role in pharmaceuticals essential
• Experience of pharmaceutical product development across the full lifecycle and product or brand management desirable
• Specific focus on haematology, oncology or rare diseases beneficial
• Have strong analytical skills
• Confidently make timely data driven recommendations
• Being able to work both collaboratively and independently is key for this role
• Able to work accurately and to deadlines essential
• Good communication skills are pre-requisite.
