Odysseus Academic Network
Summer School on EU Immigration and Asylum Law and Policy
1-12 July 2019
Brussels, Belgium
Odysseus will be hosting the 19th edition of its Summer School on EU Immigration and Asylum Law and Policy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, taking place from the 1st - 12th of July 2019!
The Summer School has been carefully designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of immigration and asylum law and policy of the EU, whilst discussing the latest pressing issues of migration and asylum across Europe. All lectures are available both English and French, and participants can choose which language to follow. On top of classes, evening debates and visits to the European Institutions, the course provides an excellent opportunity to spend an intellectually stimulating fortnight and to network among a group of around one hundred fellow participants specialised in the area of asylum and immigration.
The Odysseus Network also welcomes applications for 4 available grants to the PhD Seminar in EU Immigration and Asylum Law and Policy as part of the Summer School. The Doctoral Seminar is aimed at researchers in law, although applications from researchers dealing with legal aspects of political science or international relations are also welcomed.
