Levitate project: Societal level impacts of connected and autonomous vehicles

Loughborough University has been awarded GBP 5.7 million to lead a new research project called Levitate in the area of future mobility. Working with global project partners the project will help cities and regions across Europe to evaluate and forecast the societal level impacts of connected and autonomous vehicles and connected mobility.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced research project leader with a background in mobility and automated vehicles who will lead the research team at Loughborough.
The Senior Research Associate will provide technical leadership for the group to forecast the future impacts of connected and automated transport systems and will coordinate the Loughborough contribution to the project.
Candidates will have a background in transport planning, transport management, statistical modelling, simulation or other subjects relevant to connected and autonomous transport systems. They must have relevant project management experience.
Project Steering Committee and other meetings will take place in partner institutions so some international travel will be required.
