Job Duties:
n Conduct independent research on topics relevant to automated, interconnected and cooperative transportation logistics at the chair for Sustainable Transport Logistics 4.0
n Conceive and develop research grant applications
n Actively take part in interdisciplinary, international cooperation projects
n Present project results to internal and external parties
n Publish academic/scientific findings in international journals and at top-tier conferences
n Supervise staff, graduate assistants or student employees
n Supervise Doctoral, Master’s and Bachelor theses
n Teach university-level courses including examinations
n Provide organizational support
Your Qualifications:
n The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics and automation or a related field
n Possess a strong academic background in intelligent transportation systems
n Professional experience in the development of solutions for intelligent transportation systems (i.e. sensor data fusion, wireless communication technologies, autonomous and cooperative systems, computational intelligence, optimization techniques, microscopic traffic simulation, data exchange in Internet of Things) and its effect on users
n Excellent publication record in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and at top-tier conferences
n Strong programming skills (C/C++/C#/Java/Python/HTML/PHP)
n Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS), MATLAB, Mathematica, LabVIEW
n Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
The minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,711.10 gross per month (CA Job Grade: B1).
