The ARA South East Committee are pleased to announce a new training event - Copyright for Archivists.
This training is intended to be an informative, practical and interactive training session aimed at all those with an interest in copyright, regardless of their level of experience and knowledge of rights legislation. Training will be delivered by two leading experts in the field of copyright legislation, Naomi Korn and Tim Padfield. The day will be split into two complimentary sessions. In the morning Tim Padfield will provide an introduction/re-fresher on copyright with special reference to archives. In the afternoon Naomi Korn will deliver an interactive session looking at a wide-range of aspects of copyright which have a particular impact on those who work with archive collections, including orphan-works, risk management and due diligence.

Tickets: £25 (for ARA members) / £30 (for non-members).
There are a limited number of spaces for this event. Places must be purchased in advance from the ARA website - https://www.archives.org.uk/event-application?eventid=475.
