Hi James
We developed an idea for a mobile mini-museum for a competition. It
was a result of feedback to a question a year ago, to which I received
a lot of helpful replies from GEM and MCG. It did not win, but the
idea/principle could be applied elsewhere and adapted into different
forms. It uses the Info-Point platform [commercial interest alert!] (
http://www.info-point.eu ) to create a 'local web' that can be browsed
by any browser. I'm with Mike Ellis on this. Native apps that people
want to keep on their phone are great for multi-site and membership
heritage, but have proved unattractive for one-off visits. We use
interactive web apps and AR from various creators to demo our units.
Anyway, you are welcome to see the idea. The pdf is 6.4Mb so I've put
it on Dropbox:
